Youth and young adults who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, and/or neurodiverse are welcome to join us for
Youth Meet Ups!
We're here to build community, cultivate joy, pass on important knowledge through life skills instruction and mentorship, and teach young people to advocate for themselves and tell their own stories.
Current Schedule:
2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 3-5 pm: Felton SAGA
(in person, in collaboration with Santa Cruz Public Libraries)
Middle and high school aged youth who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies are welcome to join us for fun and safe space in community with each other.
1st & 3rd Thursdays, 4-5:30 pm: BIPOC Youth Meet Up
(in person and online)
Black, Indigenous, Latines, Asian, Pacific Islander, and all young folks of color are welcome to community building, conversation, seasoned food, movie nights, and more! We'll film Community Cooking Show during one of the sessions each month, and you can participate as a co-host, taste tester, behind the scenes helper, food critic, or meal distributor.
2nd & 4th Fridays, 4-5:30 pm: Neurodiverse Youth Meet Up
(in person and online)
Wanna come talk about your favorite fidget toys, or have some time to regulate and stim? Youth who identify as neurodiverse are welcome to come hang out, learn to advocate for support needs, and have some fun, in person and online.
Saturdays, 1-3 pm: Queer Trans Youth Meet Up
(in person and online)
Bring the whole QUILTBAG to the QT Youth Meetup! We'll hang out, do optional group activities, engage in some relevant learning, and learn to advocate for ourselves and each other. It's about found family, y'all.

Adults & All Ages Meet Ups!
2nd Saturdays, 3-5 pm: Community Meet Up
(in person, all ages)
Come on down, bring your friends and make some new ones, do a free activity and build yourself a support network for the good times, the iffy times, and the learning and growth times.
1st Wednesdays, 6 pm: Queer Movie Night
(in person, all ages, 25% in collaboration with Santa Cruz HS Rainbow Club)
2 rotating Sundays per month, 5 pm: Heritage Movie Nights
Black, Indigenous, Latine, and AAPI heritage nights are film and discussion spotlights on cultural touchstones. No single film or perspective can represent all people sharing one identity, but these glimpses help both broaden horizons and give folks a little taste of home.
4th Wednesday, 6 pm: Disability Rep Night
Join us for some diverse film representation and discussion around what we watched and what we notice every day.
